Humantay Lake is a breathtaking turquoise glacial lake located in the Peruvian Andes, near the city of Cusco. The lake is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and offers stunning views of the Andean landscape. It’s a popular day hike for adventurous travelers looking to experience the natural beauty of the region. Our day will start a little early for that reason we recommend to have a good night rest the day before. We will pick you up from your hotel to drive out of Cusco for three hours. Before start the hike, we will stop at Mollepata to fill energies with a local prepared breakfast. Them, we will drive to Soraypampa to prepare ourselves to start the hike.
After two hours and a half, we will finally arrive at the lake. We will have the time to take in the stunning views of the turquoise water and snow-capped peaks. Take photos and enjoy some snacks. After refull our energies we will descend to the starting point where our drive will wait to take us to the restaurant where we will take the lunch.
Finally, we will drive back to Cusco, and after three hours we will be at the city.
